Abstract This paper discussed the importance of cultivating students’ professional competence from the points of views of the attribute of higher vocational education and the requirement of social and economic development, while with a cultivation pattern and its preliminary effectiveness being presented improving students’ professional competence with might and main as it was put in practice.
